As a careful driver, he managed to keep his car unharmed for nearly two years, until Mar 17, 2019, when a rashly driven car banged his parked car inside a mall&amp;rsquo;s parking space.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The car raced away, leaving behind a huge dent and quite a few scratches on the left side of Mr. Shukla&amp;rsquo;s Audi. The scratches ruined the elegance of the car and he had no choice but to get it repaired. The evaluation at the showroom revealed a cost of approximately Rs 1.25 lakhs.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On enquiring with the showroom, he was informed that even though the car could be fixed in three days, replacement parts would be available only after two weeks.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Before the arrival of the parts, Mr. Shukla&amp;rsquo;s policy expired and he renewed it immediately. After a few days, when the parts arrived, the car was repaired immediately. Though, on filing for the insurance claim, he found out that because the accident had occurred while the old policy was active and the repairing took place after the renewal of that policy, his claim could not be approved.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;After the clear denial from the insurer, he was left with the choices of paying from his pocket or getting assistance from a third-party. &lt;p&gt;When OneInsure received the reimbursement file, its claims team realized that some papers were missing, including the discharge summary from the hospital. OneInsure, with the authorization from Ms. Archana, collected all the missing documents from the hospital and got them in place to submit to the insurance company. However, on close examination of the discharge summary, OneInsure noticed that there was a comment from the hospital about Ms. Archana (related to her condition at the time of admission). The term &amp;lsquo;AFEBRILE&amp;rsquo; was mentioned in her file which meant that she did not have fever at the time of hospitalization. This would have a serious impact on her claim as the primary reason cited by Ms. Archana was fever.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;OneInsure got in touch with Ms. Archana, and she told the insurance broker that she had a fever of 104 degrees F when she was admitted.&amp;nbsp; This was then communicated to the hospital and they admitted their mistake and got the same corrected in the final discharge summary. The claim was then processed and Ms. Archana received a final sum of&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;₹&lt;/span&gt; 53,000, after some deductions of non medical expenses. At the time of policy purchase, when it was found out that Yogesh suffered from hypertension during a health check up, the insurance company had advised him to eat right, take his medicines on time and participate in physical activities so that he stays fit.
