A new user can make online payment for LIC premiums by following the below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Go on to lic's official website.
Step 2: Select "pay premium online" option.
Step 3: Now you have two options: Pay direct or Pay premium through e-services
Step 4: If you haven't registered before i.e. If you're a new user, select 'pay premium through e-services'. You will be taken to a page that leads you to the option "new user" and "registered user". Click on "new user" tab. This will take you to a page where you're required to fill in all the necessary details like policy number, instalment premium, date of birth, email id, aadhaar number, pan number, passport number, etc.
Step 5: Create a new 'username' and 'password' to finish the online registration process.
Step 6: Going back to the home page, now login with your new username and password.
Step 7: Click the 'submit' button.
Step 8: From the option, 'enrol policies' enrol your policy and regain all policy details.
Step 9: Click on 'view enrolled polices'
Step 10: Click on "lic pay premium online" and select the policy for which the premium is supposed to be paid. Press on the 'submit' option.
Step 11: Select the payment mode: debit card, credit card or net banking and make the payment.
Step 12: You may receive payment receipt in your registered email. Keep that printed and save it for the records.
Note: If you're already a registered user then in step 4, select "Registered user" option.
