              Important Things to Remember

              • All individual health policy holder can now change/port their current policy to a new policy with a new insurer under the portability guidelines.
              • If the new insurer accepts your request to port,then the continunty benefits for organ specific surgeries/treatment and PED's will continue and no fresh waiting period will be levied.
              • The application should be made 45 days prior to the current renewal date of your policy.
              • Its is advisable to take a short term policy from the current insurer in the event of your portability request remain pending with insurer with your renewal date approaching.
