Add-On Details for Bajaj Allianz Private Car Package Policy

Under this Add-on, company will pays the full claim without any deduction for depreciation in the event of an accident. (Excludes Tyres and Batteries)
Under this Add-on, company will covers consequential damages to the internal child parts of the engine and /or gearbox of the Insured vehicle, arising out of:
  • Water ingression
  • Leakage of lubricating oil and/or damage to engine and/or gear box of the Insured Vehicle arising out of lubricating oil due to accidental means

Under this cover, the company will compensate the Insured for the following:
  • Repair or replacement of the internal child parts of the engine such as pistons, piston rings, piston pins, connecting rods, crank shaft, valves, valve seat / guides, nuts & bolts related to engine assembly, engine oil, gasket, sealant and cylinder head.
  • Repair or replacement of the internal parts of the gear box such as gears or shafts in the gear box housing, bearings, gear oil & gaskets.
  • Labour cost incurred by the Insured to overhaul the damaged engine and/or gear box.
  • Engine cylinder re-boring, compression tests & other machining charges.

Specific Conditions:


Claims under this cover would be admissible if:
  • There is evidence that the Insured Vehicle stopped in water logged area resulting in damage to the internal parts of the engine and/or gear box due to water ingression.
  • There is evidence of under carriage damage to the engine and/or gearbox leading to oil leakage and resulting into damage to internal parts of the engine and/or gearbox.

You’re Obligations:
  • The Insured should not try to crank or push start the engine once the Insured Vehicle has stopped in the water logged area or undercarriage is damaged
  • Call our toll-free no. to arrange for spot survey. The Insured vehicle should not to be shifted till the survey is done

Specific Exclusions:


Company will not be liable to indemnify the Insured for the following:
  • Where a loss is covered under any manufacturer’s warranty or recall campaign or under any other such package at the same time.
  • Any consequential loss apart from the damage to the internal child parts of the engine and/or gearbox due to water ingression, leakage of lubricating oil and/or damage to the engine and/or gearbox arising out of leakage of lubricating oil due to Accidental means.
  • Loss or damage including corrosion of engine and/or gearbox due to delay in intimation to the Company or delay in retrieval of the Insured Vehicle from the water logged area.
Under this Add-on, the Company will pay the insured for the cost incurred towards repairing/replacing the car keys and / or locks and/ or lockset, including locksmith charges, upon the occurrence of theft/burglary/ loss of or damage to the keys and / or lock and / or the lockset of the Insured’s vehicle, during the Policy Period.
Under this Add-on, the company will pay for the loss of personal belongings on account of damage to or theft from the insured vehicle.
Under this Add-on, in the event of Total Loss (TL) or a Constructive Total Loss(CTL), apart from the IDV, the difference between the invoice price and the IDV is payable.
Under this Add-on, the company will pay for the consumable items such as nut, bolt, screw, washers, grease, coolants, lubricants, engine & other oils, clips, ac gas, bearings, battery water, filters, sealants, gaskets, etc.

Consumable Items shall mean those articles or substances which have specific uses and when applied to their respective uses are either consumed totally or are rendered unfit for continuous and permanent use. Such Consumable Items may but not limited to include fuel.
Under this Add-on, the company will pay to the insured, a daily allowance for each and every completed day for which the vehicle is under repair in the garage due to loss/damage covered under standard Motor package policy.
Under this add-on, the company undertakes to pay a compensation for any bodily injury to the Insured (Owner Driver) in direct connection with the vehicle insured, or whilst mounting and dismounting from or traveling in the vehicle insured and caused by violent accidental external and visible means which

Emergency Assistance Cover for Bajaj Allianz Private Car Package Policy

In the event of the Insured Vehicle being immobilized due to a flat battery, the company will make an alternative arrangements to make the Insured Vehicle mobile again provided that, the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city from the Insured’s residence and the Insured Vehicle has not reached a workshop/repairer center.
In the event of You losing keys of the Insured Vehicle, the company will arrange for the pick-up and delivery of spare keys to the spot where the Insured Vehicle is located provided the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of the Insured’s residence and the Insured Vehicle has not reached a workshop/repairer center.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle being immobilized due to flat tyres, the company will arrange for the refill of the flat tyres and/or replacement of the flat tyres with a usable spare tyre to make the Insured Vehicle mobile again provided the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of Insured’s residence and the Insured Vehicle has not reached a workshop/repairer center.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle being immobilized due to mechanical and/or electrical breakdown, the company will arrange for a minor mechanical and/or electrical repairs to make the Insured Vehicle mobile again, provided the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of Insured’s residence and the Insured Vehicle has not reached a workshop/repairer center.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle getting immobilized as a result of an Accident and/or a breakdown, the company shall arrange for towing away of the Insured Vehicle from the spot of immobilization to our nearest preferred workshop, provided the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of Insured’s residence.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle getting immobilized as a result of an Accident and/or a breakdown, the company will send an urgent message on the Insured’s request to the specified persons through any available means of communication.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle meeting with an Accident, the Insured can call the company on its Toll-Free Number mentioned on the schedule, to obtain details regarding the nearest medical center that can provide emergency relief services.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle being immobilized due to an empty fuel tank and/or a contaminated fuel, the company will either arrange for supply of 3 liters of petrol or diesel on chargeable basis and/or towing of the Insured Vehicle to the Company’s nearest preferred workshop provided the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of Insured’s residence and the Insured Vehicle has not reached a workshop/repairer center.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle meeting with an Accident/breakdown, the company will arrange for a free travel of the occupants of the Insured Vehicle to a single destination within a vicinity of 50 kilometers from the spot of immobilization through a taxi or any other transportation service provided the event has occurred within 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of Insured residence and the Insured Vehicle has to be towed away to the company’s nearest preferred workshop. Any travel beyond 50 kilometers can be covered on payment of an additional amount as specified by the company. In the unlikely event, if the Company is unable to arrange for this service, they may request the insured to arrange for a taxi to transfer the occupants of the Insured Vehicle on your own and submit the bills for a pre‐communicated amount for reimbursement to the company.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle meeting with an Accident/breakdown, the company will provide the occupants of the Insured Vehicle with a hotel accommodation for one day provided the event has occurred beyond 100 kilometers from the center point of the city of the Insured’s residence but within 100 kilometers of another covered city and the time to repair the Insured Vehicle will exceed 12 hours from the time of reporting the incident. The accommodation benefits would be offered subject to per day limit of Rs. 2000 per occupant and a maximum total limit of Rs. 16000 for all the occupants of the Insured Vehicle throughout the Policy Period. In the unlikely event of the company being unable to arrange for this service, it may request the Insured to arrange for a hotel accommodation for the occupants of the Insured Vehicle on their own and submit the bills for a pre‐communicated amount for reimbursement to the company.
In the event of the Insured Vehicle meeting with an Accident, the insured shall be entitled for a free legal advice from a legal advisor over the phone for a maximum duration of 30 minutes. Subsequent to the expiry of the specified period of 30 minutes, Insured may continue with the same legal advisor on direct payment basis.

TERRITORIAL SCOPE:

The territorial scope of the Emergency Assistance Services provided will be within specified radius from the Place of Breakdown to the nearest applicable vendor or cities within the Republic of India (Except in Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Mizoram) for the coverage limit mentioned under each service. Services beyond specified coverage shall be provided on additional charges at an agreed rate which shall be paid by the Insured on the spot.

Exclusions for Bajaj Allianz Private Car Package Policy

  • Normal Wear and tear and general ageing of the vehicle.
  • Depreciation or any consequential loss.
  • Mechanical/ Electrical breakdown.
  • Vehicle being used otherwise then in accordance with limitations of use.
  • Damage to or by a person driving the vehicle without a valid license, under the influence of drugs or liquor.
  • Damage due to war, mutiny or nuclear risk.
