LIC’s Jeevan Arogya is a non-linked, non-participating health plan. It is a comprehensive health insurance plan that covers you, your spouse, children, your parents and your spouse's parents. under this plan, a lump sum amount is paid irrespective of what the actual hospitalization cost has come up to.

Major benefits

1. Hospital cash benefit (hcb) - the policyholder will be reimbursed the Hospitalization expenses in the event of hospitalization of any family member for a continuous period of 24 hours.
2. Major surgical benefit - the policyholder will be reimbursed the Major Surgical expenses in case s/he or any other covered member goes under any listed surgery.
3. Other surgical benefit - the policyholder will be reimbursed the Surgical expenses Other than the major ones in case s/he or any other covered member goes under one.
4. Day care procedure benefit - in case any insured member undergoes a Day care treatment, the expenses will be reimbursed under this policy.

Other benefits

1. In case of new family members due to marriage or childbirth, the cover can be extended to the new member as well
2. Ambulance charges for up to ?1,000 annually are reimbursed. ?1,000 is for each insured person under the plan.
3. Premium waiver benefit is available under this plan.

Eligibility

• Age bracket to be eligible for the plan is as follows-
• For you and your spouse - 18-65 years
• For your parents and/or in-laws - 18-75 years
• For children - 91 days to 17 years
