Yes, the policy will reimburse the fare expense for just one family member. It is covered under the compassionate visit. The policy states that, in the event if the insured is hospitalized consequently for a certain period due to injury sustained and/or illness contracted, the company shall pay the sum as specified in the policy schedule per day or part thereof for special assistance rendered to the insured during the period of hospitalization by any person of the family or near relatives.

Special assistance covered under by the policy are:

• The company shall also reimburse the cost of the economy class air ticket incurred by the family member. This benefit is covered only by certain travel insurance policies.
• For the accommodation expenses for that immediate family member for the remainder of the hospitalization period.
