LIC premium payment receipt is important because it serves as the evidence that you've paid the premium and also helps in availing tax benefit at the end of the financial year. You can download the premium receipt online by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to lic's website and click on lic's e-services

Step 2: Click on "registered user" tab (in case you haven't registered yet, click on "new user" and register yourself first)

Step 3: Login with your user name and password

Step 4: You will land on a welcome page. Click on:

• Consolidated premium paid statement' to download statements of all your policies

Or

• Individual policy premium paid statement' to download the individual policy premium paid statement

Step 5: Select the financial year

Step 6: Download the pdf version of your receipt and get it printed to serve it as the evidence.
