LIC's Jeevan Rekha is a combination of whole life and money back plan. In the event of untimely death of the life insured, the nominee gets a guaranteed amount i.e. The sum assured plus accrued bonuses. Likewise, in case of survival, the policyholder gets a guaranteed sum assured after every five years from the date of commencement of the policy, which can again be invested to receive returns in the form of annuity.

Features

1. One may pay premium either in a single instalment or may choose from premium paying term of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 years or lifetime.
2. Premium can be paid monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly.
3. The minimum sum assured available on this plan is Rs 2,00,000.
4. There's no limit to maximum sum assured amount.

Benefits

1. Survival benefit - in case the life insured outlives the policy period, 10% of the sum assured will be paid to him/her after every 5 years from the date of the commencement.
2. Death benefit - a guaranteed sum assured along with the accrued bonuses will be paid to the nominee or the family of the life insured in the event of untimely death.
3. Accident benefit - in case the life insured meets with an accident, a maximum of Rs 10 lakhs will be paid out to him/her.

Eligibility

Individuals falling within the age bracket of 13 to 65 years are eligible to avail this plan.
