Aditya Birla Sun Life Saral Health Plan is a comprehensive health insurance policy that covers hospitalization expenses, routine health care expenses, surgical expenses and critical illness. It is a non-participating, unit linked health plan.

Features and benefits:

• Benefits - this plan provides a fixed cash benefit to that will take care of hospitalisation expenses for surgical as well as non-surgical events. In the event you are diagnosed with a serious illness, you get a lump sum amount besides the hospitalisation cash benefits.

• Sum insured- the benefit is for a sum assured of ?10l. This can be claimed in the event of hospitalisation and/or in case of critical illness during the benefit term.

• Premium - you have the option of paying your premiums monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. In case you are unable to pay the premium by the due date, a grace period of 30 days will be granted. You can also enhance health reimbursement benefit by paying additional premium.

• Fund value- if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness, you can submit a claim for the complete fund value without having to submit the bills. And in the event you were to pass away, your nominee stands to get the fund value.

• Free look period- you can return your policy within 15 days from the date of receipt of the plan.

• Eligibility - this plan is meant for individuals within the age group of 18 to 50 years.
