Star's Senior Citizen Red Carpet is a health plan. As the name suggests, it is especially designed to meet the medical needs of Indian senior citizens. One is eligible for this plan if one falls under the age group between 60 to 75 years.

Features & benefits

• Under the plan, the minimum sum assured that you can opt for is Rs 1,00,000 up until a maximum sum assured benefit of Rs 10,00,000.
• The premium amount will range anything from Rs 4,450 to Rs 22,500.
• The policy term ranges from 1-2 years. If you choose a 2-year policy term, a discount of 5% will be received on the premium amount.
• If the life to be insured suffers from a pre-existing illness, then the applicable co-payment ratio is 50%. The same in case of other claims is 30%.
• A few of day-care procedures are covered under the plan.
