A motor accident claim consists of three important phases.

  1. Intimation
  2. Survey and Estimation
  3. Repair

In the event of a theft of the insured vehicle the three phases are

  1. Intimation
  2. Survey and Investigation.
  3. Claim Approval

Details required for Registration/ Intimation of Claim

To Register claim through above mentioned source, you will need to provide the following information to the customer support executive:-
  • Contact number
  • Policy Details
  • Name of Insured
  • Driver details along with DL No. (person driving the vehicle at time of accident)
  • Accident date and time
  • Description and location of the accident
  • Place & contact details of the person at the Loss Location.
Post intimation and registration of claim, the customer support executive will provide you with a Claim Reference/Intimation Number. A surveyor is appointed and details are

  • The repair work should not get start till the survey is done 
  • During intimation the description of the accident and damage has to be precise.
  • It is advisable to be present during survey
  • Surveyor requires original DL/RC during survey

Process of Claim

Intimate your claim and note/retain your claim intimation number.

Surveyor details will be sent to you on phone.

Arrange for Towing of Vehicle to nearest/network Garages.

The repair work starts post customer consent and post completion of repair a resurvey is done.

Surveyor and/or garage gives estimate of repairs with details of what is covered and not covered.

Claim form along with the relevant documents has to be submitted with the surveyor during inspection.

Customer pays for non approved expenses/deductable and takes delivery of vehicle.
