This policy offers compensation in case of death or bodily injury to the insured person, directly and solely as a result of an accident, by external, visible and violent means.
Unique Features of Care Secure Personal Accident Policy
Reconstructive Surgery - Coverage provided for expenses pertaining to a reconstructive surgery, advised by your medical practitioner in case of an accident leading to Permanent Total disability or PPD.
Fractures & Burns - In case of fracture or burns due to an accident, a compensation shall be provided.
Child Education Bonus - In the event of an accident resulting in insured's demise or PTD, the insurance company shall pay compensation for childs education.
Permanent total / Partial Disablement - Based on severity of loss of body part due to accident, we also pay a pre-defined percentage of the sum insured. For details, detailed information is provided in the policy wordings.
Disappearance - In the eventof an accident which leaves the insured missing (forced landing, stranding, sinking, wrecking, etc.) for more than 1 year and the insured's demise has been reasonably established, a compensation will be paid to the nominee.
Mobility cover: If an injury causes PTD and requires one to use prosthetic devices like artificial arms, legs or eyes, orthopedic braces and medical equipment like wheelchairs or hospital beds, we shall reimburse the expenses.

Exclusion in Care Secure Personal Accident Policy
Accidental Bodily Injury that you meet with or arises out of:
- Through suicide, attempted suicide or self-inflicted injury or illness.
- While under the influence of liquor or drugs.
- Through deliberate or intentional, unlawful or criminal act, error, or omission.
- Whilst participating as the driver, co-driver or passenger of a motor vehicle during motor racing or trial runs.
- Any pre-existing injury or condition
- Pregnancy except ectopic pregnancy
- Racing on wheels or horseback, winter sports, canoeing in white water rapids and bodily contact sports
- Treatment rendered by a doctor who shares the same residence as the insured or who is a member of the insured person family
- Mental illness, stress, psychiatric or psychological disorders
