This policy offers compensation in case of death or bodily injury to the insured person, directly and solely as a result of an accident, by external, visible and violent means.
Unique Features of United India Insurance - Personal Accident Policy
Educational Fund: In the event of the death or permanent total disablement (PTD) of the Insured Person due to an accident as defined in the Policy, the Company shall pay the education fund for the dependent Children
Carriage of Dead Body: The policy also covers expenses incurred for carriage of dead body from place of accident to the residence
Accident Medical Expenses: Hospitalization expenses due to Accident resulting in claim for Death / Disablement
Cumulative Bonus - In the event there is no claim, the sum insured will be increased by 5% for each completed year, subject to max of 50% of C.S.I.

- Suicide attempt there at VD criminal breach of law accidental death/injury under influence of liquor/drugs
- Pregnancy related claim
- War and nuclear perils
- Payment of compensation in respect of death, injury or disablement of insured: from intentional self-injury, suicide or attempted suicide
- whilst under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs
- whilst engaging in aviation or Ballooning, whilst mounting / dismounting from or traveling in any Balloon or aircraft other than as a passenger (fare-paying or otherwise) in any duly Licenced Standard type of aircraft anywhere in the world
- directly or indirectly caused by venereal disease or insanity
- arising or resulting from the insured committing any breach of the law with criminal intent, etc.
