Royal Sundaram Lifeline Supreme Plan is a comprehensive plan that covers in-patient hospitalization charges along with additional healthcare benefits to cover treatment of severe health conditions and/or critical illness. The plan also offers Health and Wellness benefits and even auto restores the sum insured at no extra cost.

Critical features of Royal Sundaram Lifeline Supreme Plan
- Room rent:
Limits imposed towards room and ICU rent expenses
No room rent Capping
- Co-Pay:
Specific % of admissible claim amount to be borne by Insured
This plan does not have co-payment clause
- No Claim Bonus:
Health Insurance policies may offer Cumulative Bonus wherein for every claim free year, the Sum Insured is increased by a certain percentage at the time of renewal
20% of basic sum insured up to a maximum of 100% for each unclaimed year in case opted for (The cumulative bonus will not reduce once a claim is made)
- Pre-Existing Diseases:
Means any condition, ailment or injury or related condition(s) for which you had signs or symptoms, and / or were diagnosed, and / or received medical advice/ treatment, within 48 months prior to the first policy issued by the insurer
This Plan has a waiting period of 3 years for pre-existing diseases
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Age of Entry:- Children-91 days to 25 years/Adults-18 years
- Maximum age of Entry:- No Limit
- Renewal Age:- Life Long Renewal
- Sum Insured:- 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 50 Lakhs
- Policy Tenure:- 1, 2 & 3 years
- Premium Calculated on Basis of:- Age, Zone (i.e. sum Insured Choosen)
Add-ons
- Daily Cash (by paying extra premium):
If the insured is hospitalised for more than 24hrs then a specified amount shall be payable for each completed and continuous period of Hospitalization, provided that
- The insured should have been hospitalised for more than 24hrs of hospitalization.
- Max days of hospitalization should not exceed 30 days.
- Top-up Plans:
An Amount equal to the deductible specified in the schedule of the insurance shall be borne by the Insured Person at the time of claim.
Additional discounts
- Discount for multi-year polices-5 % discount for opting 2yr policy and 10% for 3yrs tenure.
Exclusions
- Tests and treatment relating to infertility and in vitro fertilization.
- Treatment with alternative medicines like acupuncture,acupressure, osteopath, naturopathy, chiropractic, reflexology and aromatherapy
- All expenses related to AIDS and related diseases.
- Use/Abuse of intoxicating drugs or alcohol,any hazardous activities
- War or any act of war, invasion, intentional self-injury or attempted suicide
- Treatment of obesity,,Cosmetic treatments,mental disorders,external congenital diseases
- Personal comfort and convenience items or services
- Treatment arising from or traceable to pregnancy (whether uterine or extra uterine) and childbirth including caesarean section, and/or any treatment related to prenatal and postnatal care.
Note: Any claims arising out of or attributable to any of the following is not covered, Please refer policy T & C for a detailed list of exclusions.
