Chola MS Accident Protection Plan

This policy offers compensation in case of death or bodily injury to the insured person, directly and solely as a result of an accident, by external, visible and violent means.

Unique Features - Chola MS Accident Protection Plan

Transportation of Mortal Remains - Expenses incurred for transporting the mortal remains of the insured person to the nearest hospital due to an accident or to his residence or from the hospital and/or to a cremation or burial ground.

Weekly Compensation: Compensation paid for loss of income due to a disability caused by an accident.

Modification of Residences / Vehicle: In the event of permanent total disability, the expenses incurred for modifying residential accommodation or own vehicle are reimbursed.

Family Transportation Benefit Covers: Expenses incurred towards transportation of the family member to the location of the insured in the event of an accidental death / permanent total disability.

Fee for Private tuition: Compensation paid towards the tuition fees if the insured is a student and is not able to attend school / college due to an accidental injury.

Hospital Daily Cash: Provides a daily cash allowance for hospitalization due to an accident.

Accidental Bodily Injury which the insured meets with as listed below will not be covered:

  • Suicide, attempted suicide or self inflicted injury or illness.
  • Under the influence of liquor or drugs.
  • Arising or resulting from the insured person(s)
  • Committing any breach of law with criminal intent.
  • Pregnancy, resulting childbirth, miscarriage, abortion, or complications arising out of these.
  • Nuclear energy, radiation, etc.
