National Hero Accident Suraksha Policy
This policy offers compensation in case of death or bodily injury to the insured person, directly and solely as a result of an accident, by external, visible and violent means.
Unique Features - National Hero Accident Suraksha Policy
Permanent Total: It provides for payment of compensation for bodily injury caused by accidental, violent, external and visible means resulting in Permanent Total Disablement resulting from an accident.
Outpatient Treatment: The Company shall reimburse the insured the expenses incurred for outpatient treatment, subject to maximum of INR 5,000 per policy period, within the limit of SI.
Domiciliary Hospitalisation: The Company shall reimburse the insured the medical expenses incurred under domiciliary hospitalisation, subject to 20% of SI within the limit of SI
Expenses for Transportation of Dead Body: In the event of death of the insured due to an accident outside his/her residence, the Company shall pay expenses incurred for transportation of dead body to the place of residence
Education Fund: In the event of AD or PTD, the company shall pay a lump sum compensation towards childs education.
Ambulance Charges: Charges paid for transportation to the hospital by an ambulance will be paid.

- Intentional acts
- Injuries from Civil or Foreign Wars
- Accidents resulting due to Alcohol/Drug influence
- Accidents while riding a two-wheeler of more than 150 cc
- AIDS / HIV
- Injuries during active involvement in violent public disorder /labour disturbance
- Injured on duty with military/police force or a paramilitary organization
- Injuries resulting from participation in unsafe sports, etc.
