No, Tax benefit is not available under a Personal Accident Policy.

No compensation/ claim will be payable in respect of death, injury or disablement of the insured due to the following reasons:-

No, under normal circumstances where war & warlike situations prevails Personal Accident Cover cannot be granted to the proposer. However, there are certain companies whichl offer a coverage on payment of additional premium.

Similar to health insurance, personal accident policies also offers a Cumulative Bonus on claim free years. In the event, if there is no claim made under the policy and it has been renewed with the insurance company without any break, the company shall apply a cumulative bonus on the next years renewed sum insured. Here the Sum Insured will be increased by a certain percentage as decided by the insurance company. 

As the name implies, Temporary Total Disability is a disablement which is total but for a temporary period only. Under this disability, the insured cannot wholly and continuously perform each and every duty pertaining to his job/occupation.

Accidental Death (AD): In the event of Death due to an accident, the insurance company shall pay 100% of the Sum Insured to the nominee of the Insured Person.
