What Is The Process Of Linking Aadhaar To Insurance Policies?

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) recently announced that linking of Aadhaar number to insurance policies is mandatory. Failure to comply may lead to interruption at the time of claim settlement (in most cases, delayed payouts). The rule stands applicable to all insurance companies in the country and they are required to implement it at the earliest.

Insurance companies have started sending intimations to policyholders to link their Aadhaar numbers with their policies. To find out how you can do the same, please click on your respective insurer.
